LG HBS 730 IS A BRILLIANT BLUETOOTH HEADSET
The LG HBS 730 is a step into the future with its innovative design for their Bluetooth headset. It is fairly inexpensive and with great tonal quality. Its looks a bit odd with two cylindrical pods connected via an 8.5 inches flexible neck band. A wired ear bud comes down from each pod. The look generally seems messy, but LG added a touch of smart technology by adding magnetic pockets to the ear pods to keep the wires from flying around.
The pockets also keep the ear buds in place when not in use. Each wired ear bud is threaded through plastic loops that you can slide along the neck band until you find your comfortable spot. To wear the HBS 730, slide it around your neck with the ear pods hanging around like the end of scarves, and plug the ear buds in your ear. They sit snugly; and the HBS 730 comes across as an ingenious device for people with glasses. The neckband is made from ultra lightweight shape memory alloy, which helps in conforming to the shape of your neck. The ear buds have soft rubber covers, and are available in different sizes in case you should like a different one.
The controls are divided into the two pods on either side of the neckband. The right pod houses the play and pause options as well as the track shuffle option. The left pod, houses the call options, volume controls, power switches as well as the micro-USB charging jack. On the whole, wrapping your head around the buttons is fairly easy.
Not only does the HSB 730 render the user the ability to make and take calls, it also provides the option to redial the last number, call waiting support as well as auto reconnect. The Bluetooth ringtone option plays your mobile phone ringtone into the headset for incoming calls. In case you have a call coming in while the music is turned on, the headset vibrates on one side.
