The V-MODA Crossfade M-80 is one of those first headphones that the company released in the markets, so the flaws are complimented by the amazing features. The Crossfade M-80 is available in two color combinations: black with red highlights and another which is completely black. The latter pair is tagged the “shadow” by the company. The headphones have a tough headband that flattens down and does not compromise on comfort. It is reasonably padded with a mesh on the underside of the headband. WHAT DOES MAKE THE V-MODA M-80 Crossfade headphones TO STAND OUT?
The M80 headphones are supra aural or in other words, on-ear headphones; so, they sit comfortably on the ears instead of covering it entirely. As on-ear headphones, the ear cups are held onto the headband by metal sheaths that are not only classy but also accentuate durability as well as efficiency. To adjust the position of the headphones, fiddle with the ear cups and they adjust without much effort. Both ear cups have a 3.5 mm jack connection wherein the cables are expected to terminate.
The headphones come along with two cables, 36 inches long. One cable has an in-line microphone with once control button, the other with three control buttons on it. The device is compatible with all Apple audio sources. The cables are Kevlar reinforced which ensures tangle free cables, all the time. They lie limp irrespective of the number of times you roll them up and throw them around.
The tonal quality of the V-MODA M-80 Crossfade headphones leaves some room for improvement. While at normal volumes the clarity is beautiful, with resounding bass and balanced mid and higher frequency ranges; it all falls apart when you increase the volume. The bass effect drops, even for bass heavy songs at higher volumes; and there are major harmonic distortions at the higher frequencies. However, within the price range and at reasonable volumes, the Crossfade M-80 performs well. The Crossfade M-80 includes other accessories like a carrying case that is basically the headphones’ exoskeleton and the outer sheath is almost leather-like and glossy.
WHO SHOULD BUY THE V-MODA M-80 Crossfade headphones?

They are very durable and seems to have been aimed at a crowd that likes to handle equipment without much care. The fit is very comfortable by the standards of on-ear headphones. It can entirely cause natural sound isolation and no amount of sound bleeds out.
